It is roughly 1000 years since Yoh Asakura and his friends defeated Hao, and protected the world from him. Now the Shaman tournament is starting up again, and Shaman are being drawn to the city of Tokyo for the first rounds. However, as the Shaman arrive, and the final preparations are set, things are not as they should be, with some Shaman finding that the fights are starting for them ahead of time, as a group of un-named Shaman have attempted to remove others from the fights in advance. With the council unable to intervene due to the rules regarding the tournament, it's become an every-man-for-himself affair, which everyone trying their best to survive, and protect their own hides. So it falls to you, can you stop whoever is causing this? And will you be able to protect yourself at the same time? Only time will be able to tell, and time itself may be running out for some.
Shaman Souls is a Shaman King RP, set in the future, where the grand tournament is getting underway again. With very few advances in technology, Shaman must rely on their natural wit and ability to survive and proceed through the rounds. The fighting system itself relies on the quality of posts to determine the winner of any important fight to encourage higher quality posts.
