A little out of the ordinary, his clothes tend to catch a couple double glances before people start to say anything about them. Very fitting to a lanky body structure, Ren wears something that looks typical to a kilt. A stripe of his skirt and his sleeves are plaid, giving him that sort of a scottish look. But the main thing that attracts attention is the belt that he sports around his neck. Despite it looking uncomfortable, Ren rather enjoys the look, hardly ever going without the unique attachment. Around his waist Ren sports a large looking phanny pack, the same style of belt securing it. Containing his typical needs for a pokemon journey, for the most part his pokeballs are kept inside one of the pouches while everything else is unorganized in the others- the normal out of house living for trainers. When it comes to shoes he wears a pair of crimson boots that go up to a little below his knees; four large brown buckles fastening them in the front. The whole of Ren's attire makes him seem a bit feminine yet it matches his personality well. This does not mean that he is a crossdresser or a homosexual, he just is more comfortable wearing girl clothes.

Well known and famous to all, Red is amazing. Swooping in to save those in need from merciless team rocket members; fighting off hordes of strong pokemon with his awesome team; having swarms and swarms of fans wafting over him for the idol he really is. Yeah, that's the life of the hero. What Ren is; ehh... not so much. Wanting to follow in the footsteps of the infamous Red, Ren attempts to be the "hero." Trying to help those in need, fighting off team rocket, being the idol of every little kid's dream- that's who Ren wants to be. Sadly, he still has quite the distance to cover before reaching that goal. Not at all looking to become a Pokemon Master, Ren tries his hardest at training his pokemon in the art of crime fighting- typically reading books about such things. He is genuinely a very nice character; allowing people to gain his trust early on in a friendship and not judge people early on. This may sometimes prove to be a bad choice or a good choice, depending on how things play out. There is also one big flaw in his plans to become the "hero"; he's not too bad at pokemon battles, but rather he's scared of being caught in certain situations. He talks a big game, but if/when Team Rocket really shows up, he sometimes is unsure if he can actually deliver or he runs and hides. To be a hero, he has to gain that heroic characteristic that just keeps evading him; what that is, well, it's just one of those things he has to realize for himself.

The Detective → Jacques

Species; Farefetch'd
Gender; Male
Appearance;

Not one to enjoy playing dress up, Jacques is a normal colored, unclothed Farfetch'd. But, when given the job of scoping the area or otherwise classified as investigating, he looks to his handy dandy magnifying glass. This trusty tool is second best to his leek, and when its in his wing he refuses to hand it over until whatever they had been looking for was found.

Personality;

Solving cases, fighting crime, it is the job occupation- no, a lifelong dream of this little bird. Commonly called Detective Jacques when falling into one of his Sherlock Holmes moods, he pretends to be more intelligent then he actually is. Pointing out obvious details, stealing observations that Watson makes, appealing to others in a mysterious early 1900's manner; Jacques is quite the cocky little thing. With his partner, Watson, he gives himself cases and looks to solve them with pinpoint accuracy while looking to impress others. So-so at battling, he tends to fool around with opponents, dodging their attacks and then hitting them with his leek. It doesn't do damage, and in the end he typically loses, but it is quite amusing to watch.

Similar to Jacques, Watson isn't one to enjoy wearing clothes. Just a normal colored Sandshrew, the little specialty item that he enjoys wearing when "playing" detective is a small monocle propped up onto his right eye. It is not exactly his pride and joy, nor does he freak out if he goes missing, but he finds it entertaining to wear.

Personality;

The actual brains behind what Jacques does, Watson fits the name that Ren gave him. Ren's actual first pokemon, Sandshrew was named after one of his favorite characters and is quite the joker. More in it for the game then the purpose behind Jacques actual detective work, he gives hints and clues to what the Farfetch'd is looking for; occasionally going out of his way to point out obvious facts about the situation. Though he does not get the credit he deserves for his detective work, Watson does it for the sheer fun of the game. When it comes to battling, the true genius shines through to make him Ren's top choice even when fighting water pokemon. Even in the toughest situations, Watson tends to come through with flying colors.

The Bystander → Esme

Not a part of the whole detective or crime theme, the only thing that Esme holds dear is a small blue scarf with a heart surrounding the letter A at the bottom of the scarf. It is unknown what it means or where Esme obtained it, but she would give her life to protect this accessory.

Personality;

Found beaten, battered, and with a case of amnesia, Esme's place of origin is unknown. Not remembering a single thing- her name, where she came from, why she got hurt; already its a fascination of Ren's to discover the mystery behind this little bear. But there is another prime factor behind his curiosity, Esme can't battle. Having no knowledge of battling, Ren tries to get her to remember, but she can't. To his knowing, she has no attacks and no experience. Though there is something that Ren does know about her- she is deathly afraid of pokeballs. For that reason, he decided to keep as an "adopted" part of the family rather then an official pokemon. Esme is also very attached to Ren, and never is not by his side. She is similar to the baby of the group and is surprisingly friendly despite all her mysteries. Overall an interesting pokemon, it will take the workings of Ren, Jacques, and Watson to really crack the case behind her past.

Been roleplaying for about 3 years, I say I'm fairly skilled at it but there is always room for improvement. Currently working at getting out of high school, I love chilling with my bestest friends and chatting with awesome interwebs loves as well. Still obsessed about pokemon, I AM SO EXCITED FOR SOUL SILVER TO COME OUT ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. TOTODILE YESH YESH YESH. Btw.. Totodile is my favorite pokemon of all time. I have a hoodie, and I wear it proudly. Other then that I enjoy reading manga and occasionally watching anime ( fillers just killed it for me ).
